In honor of an accomplished real estate and insurance businessman, the Alva J. 3. Amy Svihovec Memorial College Scholarships

Administered through the North Dakota Association of Counties (NDACO), the Amy Svihovec Memorial College Scholarships are granted for $1,500 for children and grandchildren of county employees who are between the ages of 17 and 22. In memory of a noted community leader who was posthumously named “Landman of the Year” by the Landman’s Association of North Dakota in 1984, the Donald B. 17. North Dakota Academic Scholars Program

In order to reward high school students for ranking in the upper fifth percentile of their graduating class in preparation for attending an accredited North Dakota public, private, or tribal college, the North Dakota Academic Scholars Program provides $6,000 four-year scholarships. 19. North Dakota State Indian Scholarships

Based on academic ability and financial need for tuition assistance, the North Dakota Legislative Assembly will award between 150 and 175 North Dakota State Indian Scholarships each academic year that range in value from $800 to $2,000.
