CEOs coordinate the organizational operations and evaluate the progress their companies are making. CEOs report to owners, board of directors, or shareholders.
Human Resource Manager
A human resource manager is directly responsible for the hiring, firing, and taking care of all the administrative needs of the company’s employees. They provide the link between the employees and upper management. The larger the company or agency that they work for, the more apt that company will require a master’s degree in administrative leadership. This degree helps prepare a human resource manager to directly manage a large number of people in addition to managing a budget, setting and maintaining schedules, and keeping the workflow going smoothly. The larger the corporation, the more responsibility the human resource manager will have and the greater the pay range.
A corporate trainer is a great option for someone who wants to work as a private contractor. Corporate trainers travel to different companies and teach their employees how to perform new tasks or use new technology. Hiring a corporate trainer can save their company money because they can utilize on-the-job training and don’t have to incur the added expense of sending their employees away for training. A master’s degree enables corporate trainers to work with any number of people in a teaching capacity. A corporate trainer has control over who they work for, when they work, and how much they want to charge for their services.
Educational administrator is a perfect job for someone with a master’s degree in administrative leadership. A position as a principal in either a primary or secondary school entails working with both staff and parents on a daily basis. Leadership skills are vitally important as is an ability to motivate your staff, set goals, and evaluate the progress your school is making.
