Supply chain and logistics management is one of the fastest growing areas of the U.S. economy. Business majors who are adept at handling operations from a distribution, supply chain, and transportation perspective are in high demand. If you're interested in pursuing a degree in this field but are concerned about the demands of keeping up with school, work, and family all at once, don't dismiss the idea just yet. Many non-traditional students are weighing the pros and cons of online school and are finding solace in non-traditional schools that offer degree programs entirely online. Perhaps the best news is that many of these schools are much more affordable than more well known institutions.

Methodology

The list below was narrowed down from what started as a list of dozens of accredited schools that 1) offer undergraduate programs in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field, and 2) have programs that students can take 100% through distance education. We then focused the list on only the 9 of these schools with the lowest tuition rates, according to information in the U.S. Department of Education's College Navigator database. Public schools were given an estimated tuition rate based on the average of their in-state and out-of-state rates. The result is ten high-quality schools for less than $13,000 a year.
