2. Bernard Kilgore Memorial Garden State Scholarship

Deadline: February 14th

Sponsored by the New Jersey Press Foundation in memory of a dominant figure at the Wall Street Journal for over a quarter century, the Bernard Kilgore Memorial Garden State Scholarship grants $5,000 to graduating young New Jersey journalists who will be pursuing a career in journalism at any U.S. accredited institution. 3. Construction Roundtable of New Jersey Scholarships

The Construction Roundtable of New Jersey awards up to seven two-year scholarships for $2,500 each annually to deserving undergraduate students currently enrolled in a New Jersey community college who are planning to transfer to a four-year university in the state to study engineering, architecture, construction management, or construction design. Annually, ten C.R. 5. Dana Christmas Scholarship Award for Heroism

Funded through the Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), the Dana Christmas Scholarship Award for Heroism was established in honor of a brave student who jeopardized her life to help peers avoid injury during the tragic dormitory fire at Seton Hall University in 2000. 6. Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation Scholarships

Deadline: May 5th

For residents of Eatontown, Fair Haven, Little Silver, Monmouth Beach, Oceanport, Red Bank, Rumson, Sea Bright, Shrewbury, and Tinton Falls, the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce (EMACC) Foundation offers at least three $1,250 scholarships annually for full or part-time college students entering their junior or senior year at a New Jersey university. 8. Freehold Soil Conservation District Scholarships

Deadline: April 20th

For over three decades, the Freehold Soil Conservation District has distributed three annual scholarships for $2,000 each to New Jersey residents from Middlesex or Monmouth County who are entering their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies at a participating state college. 12. Jeffrey Carollo Music Scholarship Program

At the Newark School of the Arts, the Jeffrey Carollo Music Scholarship Program is available for New Jersey residents under the age of 18 to provide financial assistance to advanced students who wish to study classical vocal and instrumental music, including the areas of string instruments, woodwinds, select brass, piano, and voice. 16. New Jersey Student Tuition Assistance Reward Scholarship
