Each year, the Greater Salina Community Foundation offers the Alma Olson and Michael T. Olson Scholarship to undergraduate students who are enrolled on a full-time basis at the North Central Kansas Technical College in Beloit, Kansas. In honor of the founding member of the Student Ambassador Society (SAS) who was tragically murdered from an endowment created by her family, Wichita State University offers the Amie Montgomery Student Ambassador Society Endowed Scholarship annually to undergraduate students. Created by a special fund drive to honor the Dean of Graduate Studies from 1958 to 1966 Dr. Laurence C. Boylan, Emporia State University offers this scholarship to graduate students who are outstanding scholars. The Jellison Benevolent Society Inc. provides semi-annual awards for both the fall and spring semesters to students in the Geary County area who demonstrate financial need to cover the costs of earning a higher education within Kansas. Annually, the Kansas Association of Airports (KAA) offers a $1,500 Fred A. With the goal of helping financially needed and academically competitive students who are identified as members of any minority group, the Kansas Ethnic Minority Scholarship Program grants up to $1,850 each to freshmen undergraduate students who are attending a Kansas community college, private college, or state university. 15. Kansas Nursing Service Scholarship

Offered by the Kansas Board of Regents, the Kansas Nursing Service Scholarship is designed to provide partial scholarship funding and provide employment opportunities upon licensure to students who are interested in practicing as an LPN or RN within Kansas.
