Troy University has been formally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), one of the six regional accrediting bodies recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Troy also hosts several discipline-specific accreditations from professional associations. Troy University Application Requirements
Troy University is relatively selective with an acceptance rate of 67.2 percent. Incoming freshmen who are graduates from accredited secondary schools may be admitted on the basis of acceptable academic records with a minimum overall GPA of 2.0. Students who achieve a composite score of at least 20 on the ACT or 950 on the SAT could qualify for unconditional admission, but others may still be eligible for conditional admission. Individuals who have attempted at least 24 semester hours of college credit at a regionally accredited college with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 can also apply for transfer.
Graduate students looking to attend Troy University must hold a bachelor's or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution. Preference is given to students who held a minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 2.5 or a 3.0 GPA in the last 30 undergraduate semester hours. Students at the graduate level must present acceptable scores on an appropriate entrance exam, such as the GRE, GMAT, or MAT. In particular, doctoral candidates need to have earned a minimum GRE score of 294. Other accepted admissions scores will vary by each program.

Tuition and Financial Aid
Through eTroy, online students are expected to pay a fee of $326 per credit hour for undergraduate courses and $488 per credit hour for graduate courses. Students who reside out-of-state will be subject to twice the tuition rate for online coursework. Undergraduate active duty military, guard, and reserve members receive a break with a tuition cost of $250 per credit hour. During the academic year, online students at Troy can also expect to pay $50 for comprehensive exams and around $500 for textbooks, but technology fees are included.
To help lower these tuition expenses, Troy University will consider students who submit a FAFSA form for a wide range of financial aid opportunities. In addition to loans that must be repaid, students may qualify for receiving federal grants, veterans benefits, or university scholarships. For instance, eTroy students may be eligible for one of 1,000 Troy Horizon Scholarships granted annually to cover costs for one three-hour course. The Troy Corporate Achiever Scholarship is given to online students who are full-time employees of the university's corporate partners. The International Distance Learning Scholarship is also given for 300 qualified online, non-citizen international students annually to cover 10 percent of tuition.

B.S. in Business Administration for Global Business
Delivered in a fully online format, the B.S. in Business Administration for Global Business program is approved by the elite AACSB International to develop a broad-based foundation for students to succeed in today's increasingly global economy. Within the 124-credit program, online learners have the freedom to further specialize in Entrepreneurship, Finance, General Business, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Management, Marketing, or Risk Management/Insurance.
B.S. in Political Science
With the goal of giving undergraduate students a comprehensive introduction to American government in preparation for analyzing today's complex political issues, the B.S. in Political Science program is offered 100 percent online from anywhere with a 120-credit curriculum. After completing a general core, students are given the option to select a concentration in American Politics and Public Administration or International Politics.
M.S. in Sport and Fitness Management
