Over a century ago, Walter Rasmussen founded Rasmussen Practical Business School in Stillwater, Minnesota, with the purpose of preparing young people for a future in business. Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing have the following two accelerated entrance options available:
â¢ Standard Entrance Option – This accelerated BSN degree is ideal for students who are seeking a bachelor's degree for their first time. Since this is an accelerated course, this entrance option can be completed in as few as 33 months.
â¢ Second Degree Option – With this degree option, students who are earning their BSN as a second bachelor's degree have the option to study in an accelerated environment with peers who also hold college degrees. This option can be completed in as few as 33 months.
â¢ RN to BSN – If you are already an RN and are interested in earning your BSN, you can enter the post licensure track option, which can be completed in as few as 12 months.
â¢ To be eligible for enrollment in the nursing program, students must show proof of a composite score of 75 percent or higher on the TEAS and successfully complete a criminal background check.

Students can finance their education using grants, loans, tuition discounts, and scholarships to qualifying students.
The following funding is available privately through Rasmussen College:
â¢ Learning Innovation Grant- This opportunity is available for qualifying incoming students who are enrolled in a flex choice competency-based hybrid program with a start day of January 2017 or later. The college will grant up to $1,650 in quarterly increments of $275 per quarter beginning in the third full quarter of enrollment.
â¢ Fast-track Tuition Discount -Students who are taking a total of 16 or more credits will only be charged for sixteen credits. Additionally, each course taken beyond four courses, will receive additional resource and technology fees.
â¢ Corporate Discount- Rasmussen College employees enrolled part time are eligible for a 10 percent tuition discount.
â¢ Military Discount- Rasmussen College extends a 10 percent discount to all current and retired, military personal as well as their spouse and dependents, of any service member on active duty.

The Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing Standard Entrance Option
This program offers nursing students the opportunity to earn their bachelor's degree in a short amount of time. This program will take you as few as 33 months; however, you must be willing to put most of your energy into becoming a nurse in short time. This is a fast-paced and high-energy learning environment, in which you will be surrounded by a community of peers dedicated to becoming nurses. While you study, you will have access to 24-hour support, tutoring, and library services.
The Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing Second Entrance Option
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing second degree program option is aimed at participants who already have a bachelor's degree and are seeking a secondary degree. This accelerated program is full-time and demands the dedication and drive that will have you completing your BSN degree in as little as 18 months. Students enrolled in this program will study with passionate individuals with similar backgrounds and educations.
