As a traditional college, Johnson and Wales University has been in business for over 100 years. But as an online college, it has a much younger history. And yet, in just a short time JWU has managed to leverage a century of experience to create what is undoubtedly the best online college in Rhode Island. In fact, the university has created an entirely separate campus for distance learners, complete with a list of degree programs that are exclusively, unconditionally, 100% online. More specifically, JWU features a mix of bachelor's degrees - nearly 20 in all - that encompass both vocational and academic topics. Examples include Culinary Arts and Hotel & Lodging Management as well as International Business and Communication Studies.
