These scholarships for online degrees are offered from different sources both offline and online too. This money can help pay for a college education for students who are limited to attending college online due to financial hardship. The scholarships have rules and eligibility requirements that must be adhered to when applying. Read all requirements carefully before submitting.

Re-Entry Woman Scholarship

This opportunity is available for women who have had stumbling blocks on the road to their education. The student who applies must be enrolled in an accredited program and taking courses currently. She'll need to complete the application and provide 2 letters of recommendation. Along with the letters, she'll need to provide a personal statement answering why she considers herself a non-traditional student as well as how the scholarship will help with her education goals in life. The amount is $1,200 and the deadline is March 31, 2018.

ACS Scholars Program

Minority students entering chemistry or related fields are eligible for a scholarship from the ACS program. Students who apply for the scholarship must be Latino, African American or American Indian. The full-time student has to be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. There must be a financial need for the scholarships. Students who are qualified will need to submit an application with their SAT or ACT score, 2 letters of recommendation and high school or college transcripts. There are 3 award amounts, which are $2,500 for freshmen, $3,000 for sophomores and $5,000 for juniors and seniors. The deadline each year for submissions is March 1.

Pride Foundation Scholarships

With one application, students are able to apply for over 50 different scholarship opportunities with the Pride Foundation. The awards are available to gay, bisexual, transgender and straight-ally students as well as those who are from LGBT families. Applicants should have a demonstrable social justice commitment. Students from Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington State and Montana are eligible. Those who want to be successful during the application process can attend a free workshop that will provide more information on what is required. The amount of awards vary and the deadline is the middle of January 2018.

The Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Scholarship

This scholarship program awards $187,500 annually, and students can apply if they're attending a two-year college. They must prove they have leadership skills and excellence in service to society. The student must submit an application to the team and have their college select them as a nominee. The student's GPA must be 3.5 or higher and live in the country where they're attending college. This doesn't rule out students attending college online as long as the college has a campus in the country they live. Each year, the program gives out 50 gold scholar awards in the amount of $1,500 each. There will be 50 silver awards of $1,250 and 5 bronze awards of $1,000. The deadline is December 1, 2017.

Incight Scholarship

This scholarship program offers 80 awards each year to applicants with documented disabilities. The qualified student has to currently be enrolled in courses full-time. A documented disability would include deafness, intellectual disability or orthopedic impairment. The applicants are required to complete 30 hours of community service or volunteer at 2 Incight events to be eligible. The scholarships range from $500 to $2,500 and applications for the 2018 year will be announced June 2017.
