Welcome to our best value ranking of online colleges in Massachusetts.
The state of Massachusetts packs more than 80 colleges and universities into its limited acreage. The number of options in close proximity to New England residents might explain why less than 25% of these colleges have developed suitable options for distance learners. Of those online-accessible schools, we’re bringing you the 5 “best value.” These top 5 colleges all earned at least 60 points (out of 100) in our ranking.
5. Bay Path University
Bay Path University offers an experience that is unique on this Massachusetts best online degrees ranking: an all-women online undergraduate program. In fact, Bay Path pioneered the first fully online degree program in the country exclusively for women, and today it has grown to feature more than 20 such accelerated online degrees. The school’s female-focused mission extends to its online learning experience, which emphasizes collaboration and support in a way that Bay Path claims is ideal for women. As part of this mission, Bay Path provides access to special initiatives like the Women as Empowered Learners and Leaders (WELL) program, a career- and confidence-development experience that is built into the curriculum.
