5. Bay Path University
Bay Path University offers an experience that is unique on this Massachusetts best online degrees ranking: an all-women online undergraduate program. In fact, Bay Path pioneered the first fully online degree program in the country exclusively for women, and today it has grown to feature more than 20 such accelerated online degrees. UMass Lowell is also constantly adding to its online offerings, having recently rolled out bachelor degrees in criminal justice and business administration. 3. Bridgewater State University
The College of Continuing Studies at Bridgewater State University provides a set of top online college courses in Massachusetts with a lot of variety in the course structure. Students can choose from web-only classes, which are 100% online, and web-hybrid courses, which mix predominantly online coursework (50-80%) with regular classroom meetings. This unusual level of flexibility should appeal especially to local students who need the versatility of distance education but still recognize the value of face-to-face lessons. In addition, a dedicated eLearning Department provides special training and instructional design assistance for professors who teach distance courses. But of course, the best eLearning support services cater directly to undergraduate students, who can choose from bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, Hospitality and Tourism Management, and an innovative “University without Walls” Degree Completion program.

1. Westfield State University
Westfield State is undoubtedly one of the best online schools in Massachusetts for individuals who participate in the MassTransfer program. This state-wide venture enables students who earn their associate degree at a local community college to complete their junior and senior years entirely online. Fortunately for transfers, this accredited online college in Massachusetts provides an array of degree completion programs to satisfy a range of interests, including History, Liberal Studies, Business, Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Sociology. Even students who haven’t completed a designated MassTransfer program can still benefit from Westfield’s online coursework. Campus advisors will work with these online learners to transfer existing credits, design a curriculum, and identify additional classes that will require on-campus attendance.
