Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens, be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university, have good academic standing, demonstrate a strong leadership potential, and write a 2,500-word essay explaining one of the critical business issues affecting women globally today. 2. BP Global Citizens of Tomorrow Scholarship

Deadline: March 1st

As part of the AFS Intercultural Programs, the BP Global Citizens of Tomorrow Scholarship is available for financially challenged students from diverse backgrounds who are interested in increasing their intercultural awareness to succeed in today's global economy by studying abroad in Brazil, China, India, Malaysia, or South Africa. For one of the 23 annual full scholarships, qualified applicants should possess a career interest in the international energy industry, be recommended by a teacher, possess a minimum GPA of 3.0, and complete a FAST financial aid application. 3. Celia M. Howard Fellowship

Established by the Illinois Federation of Business and Professional Women (IFBPW), the Celia M. Howard Fellowship is designed to give $10,000 to mature Illinois women who are pursuing advanced studies in international business, diplomacy, international management, law, and administration of justice. 4. Don Riebhoff Memorial Scholarship

Within the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), the Don Riebhoff Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually for $1,000 to students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in international business, trade, relations, marketing, affairs, or other closely related global studies. Across the United States, chapters of the Executive Women International (EWI) are offering annual scholarships for $1,000 to $5,000 apiece to the highest achieving female high school seniors who plan to pursue a business-related degree at an accredited post-secondary institution within North America. Sponsored by the Hawaii Community Foundation (HCF), the Henry A. Zuberano Scholarship is awarded annually for $1,000 to nine outstanding undergraduate students who have declared a major in political science, international relations, international business, or public administration. Ranging in value from $2,000 to $4,000, the Malcolm Baldrige Scholarship is presented each year through the Connecticut Community Foundation to graduating high school seniors who will be pursuing an undergraduate degree in international business, trade, or manufacturing in the upcoming fall. Within the ¡Adelante! U.S. Education Leadership Fund, the MillerCoors National Scholarship is awarded each year for $3,000 to American citizens of Hispanic or Latino heritage who are pursuing an accredited degree in business, accounting, international business, marketing, public relations, economics, or finance. 12. NCITD International Trade Scholarship

Annually, the National Council on International Trade Development (NCITD) awards at least one for $1,000 or more to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited degree program focused on international trade, political science, international relations, international business, international law, international finance, or economics. Eligible applicants must have at least junior-level standing, attend an approved U.S. university, have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0, show a proven interest in international trade, and submit a letter of recommendation from a NCITD member or professor. 13. Patricia Escudero Scholarship

At the Hult International Business School, the Patricia Escudero Scholarship has been created in loving memory of a beloved student who was diagnosed with cancer, completed class assignments with chemotherapy sessions, and eventually lost her life three weeks short of graduating. 14. Ralph Lauren International Trade and Marketing Scholarship

Funded through the Ralph Lauren Corporation in honor of its Senior Vice President of Global Sourcing Donald Baum, the Ralph Lauren International Trade and Marketing Scholarship is presented annually for $5,000 to $5,700 to students at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York. As part of the Women in International Trade (WIIT) Charitable Trust, two annual scholarships for $1,500 each are granted to female undergraduate and graduate students who have declared a major in international business, international development, international relations, international trade, or international economics.
